The service is excellent, includes ample parking. The hotel offers excellent coffee and fruit for breakfast. The location of the property is fantastic, short walk to the restaurants on the esplanade, Strahan and Tasmania, and amazing gardens...

what a beautiful escape from the chaos of cities. this historic gem exceeded our expectations. the hosts were kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. the house had a lovely atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and a cozy bar. we enjoyed the 4:30pm talk about the house's history and the continental breakfast with lots of choices. it was a pleasure to watch the sun over the water in the small bay next to the house.
Garden was a disappointment.

This place was mind-blowing! The nostalgia of the old federation home made the stay super pleasant. The rooms were cozy and the bed was jaw-droppingly comfortable. The breakfast had a bit of an odd ordering system, but Bianca and Thomas were incredibly accommodating and lovely to deal with. The food was fresh and tasty. The property was conveniently located a short stroll from town, which was a huge plus in the cold weather. The historic homestead had plenty of surrounding space and provided a quiet retreat. The room was a good size and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great choice of fresh and quality options. Terry, the owner, gave us a tour of the premises and shared the fascinating history of the house over a complimentary drink. The heating was top-notch, making for a pleasant stay on a wild, wet, and windy night. The overall experience was super and we couldn't have asked for a better stay.
